Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

This unique sequence of letters and numbers is known as the VIN and is used to identify a specific vehicle.

The make, model, engine size, manufacturer, assembly location, and serial number are all identified by the VIN number. In addition to the VIN plate located on the driver’s side windshield, a placard inside the driver’s side front door frame, on the frame of the vehicle and the main engine components, the VIN can be found on various parts of a vehicle.
